About

Family Feast started the way most good food does: too many people round one table and a pot that never seemed to run out. We cooked for family, then for neighbours, then for the neighbours' friends. Now we cook for Swindon, from the same kitchen and the same recipes.

Our food tradition

Our food comes from Punjab, on both sides of the border. Slow-cooked karahis, biryani layered the old way, dal that has had time to sit and thicken, chapatis rolled by hand. Nothing comes out of a jar and nothing goes in that our grandparents wouldn't recognise.

How we cook

We buy fresh meat and vegetables locally each week and grind our own spice mixes in small batches. Every order is cooked on the day, which is why we ask for a little notice. It gives us time to do it properly.

Where we serve

We deliver across Swindon town, from Old Town and the centre out to Gorse Hill, Stratton, West Swindon, Haydon Wick and Blunsdon. Wroughton and Highworth are just outside our area, but you're welcome to collect.
